Vietnamese Food

For our new neighborhood Restaurant friends - MOT HAI BA and especially Jeana.

As Jeana and crew know, my lovely wife Sherry has become a bit addicted to the cuisine at MHB (three times a week would qualify I would think).  So, we thought we would have to put that craving aside until returned.

However, upon arriving at the Chateau we were settling in and reviewing the "things to do" in the area.  The first page of the binder was titled CAFI -Vietnamese Food.  With interest I began to read....."If you like Vietnamese food, you can visit the CAFI (Centre d"Acceuil des Francais d'Indochine) in Saint Livrade.  The restaurant is situated in a small family run grocers shop.  The CAFI came about when Vietnam was partitioned and those who didn't want to live in the North were offered refuge in France.  They were housed in an old training camp which is under renovation at this time.  Many of the original families are living on site and offer foods you cannot get in other parts of France." To read more about this....http://www.thisfrenchlife.com/thisfrenchlife/2010/06/cafi-a-vietnamese-village-in-the-lot-france.html

We are sure to visit and will supplement with pictures.

Jeana, we will do a little research on this and they better have the dishes Sherry likes so much.
