Last Night - Burgundy

So tomorrow we are on our way to Paris and meeting our new guests, including my brother, son, sister in law, niece and dear family friend Lindsey.  We are very sad but optimistic about returning to Burgundy.  Tonight for our Death Penalty last meal we had Bresse Chicken, cut by the butcher perfectly, white asparagus, salad, green beans and Francois Raquillet Burgundy Red.  An all and all perfect last night.........

We watched the French Open in French.  Federer vs. Nadal final on Sunday.  Maybe we can make a play at going on Sunday.  In any event we are planning to see the Louvre, Musee d' Orsay, Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur....you get the point.

The lovely wife, Sherry and me are going to Tour de Argent (http://www.latourdargent.com/) for our Anniversary next week.  Pressed Duck, aka Canard.

We are going to enjoy this bad boy next week
LE CANARD

At this point I am out of things to say other than if you get the point please visit the Burgundy area of France.  The food, wine, people and country are all just amazing.  We completely enjoyed our time here in Bourgogne.

Next blog...............Paris!!!
