Sunday night was our special 'prom' night at our new chateau in the Loire Valley. The evening was set up for a local chef to come to the chateau and prepare dinner for our party of 12. We all were very excited and dressed for the evening and took pictures around the property, only to find out there was a miscommunication of some sort with the chef and he had us down for another night. The wonderful owners of the chateau quickly made arrangements for us all to go to a local seafood restaurant. Not what we had in mind, but it turned out just fine and we were able to discover a lovely restaurant where we will probably visit again during our stay here!
The chef did end up coming....Tuesday night, so we had what I like to call 'prom night, part deux.' We had a very nice dinner at the chateau and everyone enjoyed both meals. Plus, we also got some very cute family pictures!!
