Happy Father's Day in Castellet

 Happy Father's Day!! This morning we woke up and wished Steve a Happy Father's Day. He was ready for an adventure so we loaded in the car and headed out and ended up in Castellet. This is a medieval village 15-20 minutes north of Bandol. It was quite amazing. It was forecasted to rain and be cooler than normal, but the clouds held off and we had a lovely afternoon exploring this hilltop village.

This is at the top of the medieval villages we have visited in years past. There are many restaurants and shops and it is just beautiful

After walking around many, many hills, we decided it was time for lunch. What are the chances that a medieval village in the south of France has a shop dedicated to Disney figurines. Not only the basic figurines, but the newest and most amazing FROZEN figurines! Wow, this craze is everywhere!

On the way home we passed a little street side market that had the most amazing legumes/fruits I've ever seen. Looks like Father's Day dinner is at the apartment tonight! Yum!

Not only is this apartment perfectly located within the town and the beach, but London has her own room  with bunk beds that we have turned into a castle tent with the help of a few blankets! Happy girl!
