Sanary Sur Mer

Today was market day in Sanary Sur Mer so we decided to head over to check out our neighboring town. We somewhat underestimated the popularity of this market as it took us over 30 minutes to find parking. But it was well worth it! The market was quite large and enjoyable! We have never seen so many people shopping for clothes. This market was the equivalent of Neiman's last call sales. You would have thought they were giving clothes away! But there were also many great vendors with fruits, vegetables, fromage, charcuterie and fresh caught fish which were amazing to see.

Amazing fresh fish

I haven't heard of these fish before but I would love to have them for dinner!

Steve, PLEASE don't make a purchase at the horse butcher! I don't want to eat horse.

Relaxing fisherman behind today's catch

OMG!

Has anyone heard of 'Coach University- NYC? 'The random French t-shirts completely crack me up

Once we made our rounds throughout the market it was time to find a place for lunch!
Today we decided to avoid the pricey rose wine selections and try the house pitcher of rose with lunch. Ummmm, I do believe this is quite as good for a fraction of the price!

We are loving London's photography
Cheese!!!
Provencal Vegetables Mille-Feuille

Plat du Jour  - Gambas!
GLACE!!!

More Glace???
HAHA

London's purchase of the day - a dolphin wallet
Once we arrived back in Bandol, we were walking the port of Bandol when Steve thought he should check out Blanc de Herbe, an all white shop. I am pretty sure this is one of the first times we have stopped for Steve to shop. He had to find some pieces to match his France-esque bright shorts.  His selections were fantastic! A button down and unexpected necessary sweater for evenings perfectly compliment his wardrobe.

Nice!

Absolutely NOT....what woman would or could every wear this denim jumpsuit clearly from the 1980's????

We have threatened to take London to this establishment everytime she  is on the verge of  being 'whiny' or in France, 'winny.' Fortunately it is close to our apartment so we can remind her often that she shouldn't want to visit! Haha! This great play on the French-English vocabulary has worked perfectly for our 5 year old!

"Stop it Mom!!' I don't want to be 'Le Winny"

This random carnival ride was driving into town to set up for the Fete de Musique this weekend We have no idea how they will fit into this location, but they are certainly trying!

We are trying to Skype Grammy & Pappy!!! Gros Bisous to you, we really miss you!
