Today we loaded in the caravanned to Bordeaux for lunch and some sightseeing with the Stricklands. Our first stop was lunch at L'Entrecote. Fortunately we got there just as they were opening so the line was minimal. Who doesn't like an endless supply of Steak Frites!?!

After lunch we all needed a walk around Bordeaux. Bet you will never guess our first stop.... the CAROUSEL. It was just opening for the day and the girls were the first customers. It took a great amount of patience for the girls to wait for that very important green plastic fence to be removed before they could purchase tickets and select their favorite horse, plane or creature to ride.

Come on....open already! |

What better way to end a carousel ride....ICE CREAM! |

The dads and Pappy got involved in this purchase as well. |

Perfection |
After some exploring and shopping in Bordeaux we headed back to the chateau for some rest and relaxation. The girls found a trunk of extra blankets so we began constructing tents for them in Annika's room.
After tent play was done, it was time to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. Of course Pappy was in for a treat with a beauty salon treatment from Annika & London. Patient Pappy!!!
So pretty. It was a gorgeous end to another amazing day in France.
What else does one do after eating the entire box of macarons from Bordeaux?? Use the lid to create crowns of course!
