Gordes....with Kimberly & Robben

Our friends Kimberly and Robben arrived in Provence late Sunday afternoon. We have made reservations  at La Bastides de Gordes for lunch overlooking the town and area. It was such a beautiful restaurant and perfect day to enjoy lunch outside.

On the way to Gordes, we had a major bathroom incident......I'm pretty sure I haven't laughed so hard in my life!

 We made it to Gordes......this village is absolutely built on a cliff....it is amazing!

 Mommy & London at the restaurant.We are enamored with the 'menu enfant' at these restaurants. I'm pretty sure all the adults at the table would order a menu enfant if they would let us. It makes the kids menus in the US look horrible!

 After lunch we were all eyeing up the hotel pool.....I'm pretty sure we would have all taken a poolside chair and snoozed if we could have!

 After lunch exploring the town of Gordes......we are a happy and full bunch!!!!

 It's quite a hike back to the car. I think we were all so excited about lunch we didn't notice how far the car was parked. But with stomachs full of rose wine and amazing food, we were all ready to crash for an afternoon nap.
